Workers looking to gain access Centurion Business Park on Shields Road were told to find another route.

One worker said: “We were supposed to start at nine o’clock but the junction to get to the office is completely closed off.

“We’re trying to find another way to get there, it’s a bit of a nightmare.”

Anne Walker, a commuter from Maryhill, said: “This road is usually jam packed with people travelling to work.

“The street I need to go down is completely shut off so police told me to go down and round another street, but I don’t know the area that well.

“There’s no residential areas around here, it’s mainly just traffic, so it seems to me like it was a targeted attack.”
