Andy Murray is standing proudly on top of the tennis world after beating Novak Djokovic to win the ATP World Tour Finals and ending the year as the world number one.

It has undoubtedly been the finest season of the Scot's career and now Grime rapper Reece Robertson and music producers Mark Gregory and Jamal Edwards are hoping to get him to the top of the music charts.

The trio are trying to make the song, Andy Murray, Love Britain, a viral hit after BBC Music tweeted on Monday asking listeners to suggest a #songforandy.

Music producer Mark Gregory, whose company A LifeLong Recording, edited the video for Andy Murray, Love Britain, said: "The track has never been released but the video was uploaded onto SBTV to raise awareness of Andy Murray's name and his success to the Grime/urban community which seems so relevant today as a Grime album (Skepta) won the Mercury Music Prize over some extremely distinguished artists albums.

"We feel Andy Murray's legacy and awareness of his incredible achievements can increase within the youth and it's the least he deserves."

What do you think? Christmas number one?
