POLICE SCOTLAND have warned criminals they shouldn't deck their halls with boughs of cannabis this festive season.
South side cops took to social media with a photo of a seized cannabis plant, along with a tongue in cheek public appeal for help to take down drug dealers.

Tweeted from the @SWGlasgowPolice account, the message read: "Cannabis cultivation seized in Darnley by your Problem Solving Team.
"If you see anyone else with a Christmas Tree like this give us a phone!"

Though the SNP's latest conference saw delegates overwhelmingly back a motion in favour of the decriminalisation of cannabis for medical use, it's likely to be some time before such plants are acceptable to bedeck in baubles and tinsel.
