A TEEN was fined after he attacked another man who had touched the girl he was with on the bottom.

Lee Jack Lorenston, 19, was in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court after he admitted that he assaulted the man at the Ponds Hotel on Great Western Road on February 7.

They had issues gaining access to the room which caught the attention of the victim.

The group engaged in conversation for some time.

Lorenston, however, was some time later told by the girl that the victim has touched her on the bottom.

This resulted in an altercation and Lorenston accepted that at this point he assaulted the man.

His charge sheet states that he repeatedly punched and kicked his victim on the head and body.

The assault caused his victim to then fall to the ground.

He then again repeatedly kicked him to the head to his injury.
