A CAMPAIGN group is hosting a Christmas-themed event to help raise awareness about suicide.
The North East Glasgow Suicide Prevention Forum (NEGSPF) is having a community event in the Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre in Denistoun, on Thursday, December 15 from 1-4pm. .
The forum brings together NHS and voluntary groups to help work together to reduce suicide.

In 2011-15, the suicide rate was more than three times higher in the most deprived tenth of the population (decile) compared to the least deprived decile (22.1 deaths per 100,000 population compared to 7.3).
A spokesman said: “We are now reaching out to the community.
“Our event will be getting together several community organisations to host stalls for the afternoon providing information and advice.”
Organisations confirmed as stallholders include: Glasgow’s Helping Heros, Samaritans, Mental Health Network, Smoking Cessation Service, GEMAP (money advice) and Easterhouse CAB.
