A MAN who stole £4 worth of stationery from a Glasgow City Council social work office has been fined.
James McCafferty, 45, of Aberfoyle Street, Haghill, admitted he broke into the Newlands Centre Social Work Office on Springfield Road on November 11, 2015.
The Procurator Fiscal depute told the court that McCafferty broke into the building at around 4am which triggered the alarm.
McCafferty’s haul of stationary items was worth £4 and included tippex.
The court heard McCafferty appeared to be under the influence of drugs during the break-in.
He was fined £200.
