As more and more people believe that the wrapping of a gift is just as important as the gift inside, Silverburn shopping cengtre is getting ready to host Scotland's first ever Wrap Battle.
The perfect platform for self-confessed 'wrap' royalty, participants will go head-to-head in a series of rounds, wrapping a range of tricky items – not just your standard DVD or box of chocolates.
Competitors will be judged on creative flair, technical ability and precision, with the winner scooping £50 worth of Silverburn gift card vouchers.
Each timed round will have its very own soundtrack, brought to you by local hip-hop artist and resident 'wrapper', Loki.
The event will highlight Silverburn's Christmas offering with all wrapping materials available from Papyrus and Paperchase. For those looking for something a little more special, select retailers will be offering bespoke gift-wrapping services.
David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn said: "Great wrapping is a sure way to impress everyone on your Christmas gift list and what better way to celebrate the art form than by calling on Glasgow's best to go head-to-head.
"Whether you take part or simply come along to watch, I have no doubt it's going to be a nail biting affair!"
The Wrap Battle, Silverburn shopping centre takes place on Wednesday, December 7 from 4pm until 7pm
