A new restaurant opening in Renfield Street is set to bring the sizzling Cuban heat to the heart of the city this December
To celebrate the opening of Revolución de Cuba and get your taste buds tingling, there will be a free food truck pop-up, taco giveaways and a mindful charity evening all set to give lucky Cubanistas a hint of what’s to come.
The first Glasgow branch of this Latin American rum bar and Cantina will bring premium rums, expertly made cocktails and a little Cuban spice to Glasgow's exciting drinking and dining scene.
By day, the restaurant will offer relaxed dining with dishes such as pork belly skewers with spicy rum sauce, paella de Cuba and Iberico ham croquettes.
As the sun goes down the party begins with Cuban cocktails taking centre stage and revellers descending onto the dance floor, accompanied by live music throughout the night.
Ahead of the grand opening, Revolución de Cuba will be popping up on Buchanan Street on Sunday, December 11 with a stand-out street food van filled to the brim with free quesadillas, paella, churros and more.
For even more free fun, the restaurant’s dedicated taco bar will be offering 1,000 free tacos to those lucky enough to snap them up first.
Make sure to follow Revolución de Cuba on social media, @decubaglasgow, to get your invite and find out when you’ll be able to get your hands on them.
There will also be details on social media of Revolución de Cuba’s upcoming ‘pay what you like’ charity evening from which 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to Emmaus and Glasgow Children’s Hospital.
