PATIENTS have called for greater investment in Monklands Hospital in Airdrie.
Almost 2000 people have responded to a consultation on healthcare plans affecting Monklands, Wishaw General and Hairmyres hospitals.

It has already agreed to an interim move, which will see emergency operations for patients with broken and fractured bones done at Wishaw and Hairmyres.
