Former Rangers star Thomas Buffel has launched his own brand of GIN and it seems his celeb pals are lapping it up.

The Belgium midfielder, who won the SPL title and Scottish League Cup in 2005 with the Gers, has turned businessman and is now selling 'Buffel Gin' for £40 a half litre bottle.

The alcoholic drink initially started off as a wedding present to the football star and his wife Stephanie, however, it received rave reviews and now it is being produced commercially.

And, it seems, his celebrity sports pals are enjoying a tipple of it too as both cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins and Sampdoria star Dennis Praet were snapped posing with the booze.

So far Buffel says his gin has been a huge success and has even had special bottles made for it by a design expert in France.
