A Polish Christmas advertisement is melting the cold heart of the Internet with its heartwarming message.
In an ad for the online auction platform Allegro, a Polish grandfather receives an English For Beginners audio kit from the website.
In the ad, the man begins learning English by placing post-it notes on everyday household items, including his dog. He listens to the audio set everywhere he goes, which creates several humorous scenes.
“I love you,” he says to a woman on the bus. He also manages to practice a few NSWF lines from an American action movie in his bathtub.
So, why is he learning English? Cue the waterworks.

The real reason the man is learning English is to meet his granddaughter for the first time.
The man purchases a suitcase, packs up and arrives at his son’s home just in time for Christmas.
As a little girl walks shyly towards him, he tells her in perfect English: “Hi. I am your grandfather.”
The advertisement has been viewed over four million times on YouTube. On Twitter, many admitted they shed a few tears while watching the ad.
Now, it's your turn.
