A GLASGOW MSP has launched a Christmas toy appeal targeting help at 100 of the city’s most in need families.
Anas Sarwar, Labour MSP for Glasgow, has teamed up with Women’s aid in the city and Children 1st to identify families who need help most this year.
Mr Sawar through the Glasgow Cares charity, has organised a toy appeal for the last four years.
He said: “ This year we wanted to make sure we were reaching the most in need and the most vulnerable families. Those who may be the hardest to reach who wouldn’t get to hear about the appeal before. So the two wonderful charities have helped identify those we will give to.”
If there are surplus toys from the public donations they will be given to other toy appeals in the city.
Donations of new, unopened toys can be handed in to the drop off point at Bellahouston Business Centre 423 Paisley Road West.
Or cash to buy toys can be donated to UCare Foundation sort code 60-91-96 A/C 15110106
