A MAN who challenged officers to a fight after they were called because he was banging on the doors and windows of a house has been told to do unpaid work in the community.
Donald Hassan, 51, appeared in the dock for sentencing at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to two charges.
He accepted that he repeatedly struck windows and doors, and demanded entry to a home on Curtis Avenue on November 5.
He also accepted that he shouted, swore and challenged police officers to a fight.
Hassan, of Kingsacre, was under the influence of alcohol during the offence.
As an alternative to custody, he was placed under supervision for 12 months.
He was also told to perform 120 hours of unpaid work in the community which was reduced from 180 hours because of his early plea.
