A pub landlord has branched out by creating a gigantic Christmas tree - made from 1,000 empty wine BOTTLES.
The shimmering structure, which stands at a whopping 16ft, has amazed local pub-goers at the Queen Victoria Inn in Priddy, Somerset.
Owner Mark Walton came up with the idea for the dazzling translucent tree, which took sculptor Ben Selway over a week to complete.
But the towering centrepiece couldn't have taken shape without the help of enthusiastic villages, who chipped in to supply half of the wine bottles.
The stone-built Queen Victoria Inn, which has been pouring pints since the end of the nineteenth century, lies near the summit of the picturesque Mendip Hills, Somerset.
Mark, who has been running the historic Queen Vic for seven years, ironically doesn't drink wine and prefers a pint of cider.
Angela Watts from the Queen Vic said: "We've had a big response and a great response from everybody - they all think it's amazing."
