Clean Bandit have scored the Christmas number one for 2016 with their single Rockabye.

The British electronic trio follow in the footsteps of last year's seasonal chart-toppers, the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir.

Other notable Christmas number one artists of recent years include a slew of X Factor champions, such as Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Ben Haenow and Matt Cardle, although this year's winner, Matt Terry, only managed number eight.

He joins last year's X Factor champion Louisa Johnson in failing to reach the Christmas top spot.
