Police are searching for two teenagers missing for more than three days.

Kaitlyn Findlay, 18, and Rhiannon Lyons, 17, have both been reported missing in Dundee but the girls are not thought to be known to each other and the cases are being treated as separate inquiries.

Rhiannon was last seen in Forres Crescent in Dundee at around 10.15pm on Wednesday December 28.

She is 5ft 8in with a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and blue trainers when last seen. She was also carrying a cream handbag.

Kaitlyn was last seen in Blackness Road at about 8pm on Friday December 30.

She is 5ft 3in with a slim build and long brown hair. She is thought to have been wearing a grey Nike hooded top, black jeans, black Adidas trainers and carrying a black leather handbag with silver studs.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information in either case to contact police on 101.

A force spokesman said: "There is no information to suggest that missing Rhiannon Lyons and missing Kaitlyn Findlay are known to each other.

"They are being treated as separate missing person inquiries."
