Meet the Glasgow woman behind Facebook phenomenon Missing People Scotland

There are still people missing from the Glasgow area and beyond, have you seen them?

Paul Booth

Glasgow Times:

Cumbernauld man Paul Booth was last seen in his hometown on October 25, 2016.

Paul, 45, disappearance has been described as "out of character" by police.

The last sighting of him was on the footbridge between McGregor Road and Hillcrest Court.

Julia Chikosi

Glasgow Times:

Mount Vernon woman Julia Chikosi vanished on May 11, 2016.

Julia, 37, was last seen at Bridgeton area of Glasgow where she went to attend an appointment.

She has not made contact with her family or friends since.

Janet McQueen

Glasgow Times:

Govanhill mother Janet McQueen has left her family heartbroken since she vanished on October 18, 2016.

She was last seen on Langside Road at around 10pm.

She told a neighbour she was heading off to visit family.

Paul Harley

Glasgow Times:

Dumbarton's Paul Harley was last seen on September 28, 2014.

Paul, 53, vanished from his home in Whiteford Avenue.

Police said this year that despite extensive enquiries there has been no sightings of him.

David Findlay

Glasgow Times:

Grandfather David Findlay's daughter Linda has never given up hope after he vanished on May 5, 2008.

He was last seen on Sauchiehall Street at West Nile Street.

Police followed up sightings on the Cardonald man in places including Coatbridge, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth.

Stuart Clark

Glasgow Times:

Stuart Clark was last seen on a train when he vanished on January 17, 2016.

CCTV was issued of Stuart on the train between Cardross and Dalmuir at around 11.45am.

Police believed he may have been in Mackintosh’s Bar (Macs Bar) at the corner of Swindon Street and Dumbarton Road, Dalmuir the following day.

Sandy Davidson

Glasgow Times:

At just three years old, Sandy Davidson vanished on April 23, 1976.

The tot was playing in the garden of his grandmothers’ house in the Boutreehill area of Irvine along with his younger sister Donna then aged two and the family dog.

It is believed that the dog escaped from the garden and Sandy went to look for it but never returned.

Thanh Van Bui

Glasgow Times:

Teenager Thanh Van Bui, 15, disappeared on June 12, 2015.

He was last seen in the Pollokshields area of the city.

Thanh was last seen on CCTV speaking to a man and woman.

Margaret Fleming

Glasgow Times:

Greenock woman Margaret Fleming was last seen on October 28, 2016 by her two carers.

Police said that there is a real strength of feeling in the community of Inverkip about Margaret's disappearance.

As a vulnerable woman, high profile searches have taken place to find Margaret.

William McKenna

Glasgow Times:

Dalmuir man William McKenna was last seen on July 16, 2016.

Police know that William spent the Saturday he vanished at various locations in Clydebank town centre.

They also know the last confirmed sighting was outside his home address in Durban Avenue around 5.15pm by a neighbour.
