A MAN left a bag in a tea shop and told terrified shop workers that there was a handgun in it, a court has heard.
Dominic Simon Thursfield, 56, was admonished for the bizarre incident which happened at the Tempo Tea Bar on Queen Street on October 27, 2014.
Thursfield, of West Princes Street, Helensburgh, also told staff in the shop he was leaving for Baghdad and planned to kill people on a daily basis.
When police arrested him, there was no handgun in the bag. He also had Class B Cannabis in his possession.
He was admonished because of his lack of record.
