Rail passengers are facing major travel disruption this evening due to damage to overhead wires between Glasgow and Paisley Canal.
ScotRail has advised commuters that services between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal may be cancelled.

A Shuttle bus service that was operating between both stations stopped at 6.15pm.
Passengers can travel on First Glasgow buses using vaild rail tickets issued between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal until 7pm.
After 7pm taxis will be arranged between the stations with passengers advised to use station help points for assistance.
