PARENTS affected by plans to axe a children's ward are being urged to attend one of two public meetings.
Health bosses will be taking questions about plans to remove the paediatric inpatient ward from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
The proposal would see children's emergency, elective inpatient and day case care transferring from the RAH to the Royal Hospital for Children.
The first event is being held in the town’s Wynd Centre on Tuesday, 17 January between 6-8pm. The second event, also at the Wynd Centre, is being held on the morning of Friday, 20 January between 10am-noon.
Anyone planning on attending either of the events is asked to register in advance.
Those unable to attend the public meetings can also make their views known to the health board by calling 0300 123 9987 (Free phone)
