INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE have announced the arrival of former Dundee United, Hibs and Motherwell striker Henri Anier.

The Estonia international has penned a deal with Richie Foran's side until the end of the season after his release from Swedish club Kalmar.

Anier scored 11 goals in the Scottish top-flight during spells with Motherwell and Dundee United and returns to Scotland only six months after leaving the Tannadice outfit.

Caley Thistle also confirmed that Fulham have agreed to extend Larnell Cole's loan spell at the club until the end of the season, while David Raven has signed a six-month contract extension that will ensure he stays in Inverness until January 2018.

A club statement on Monday read: "It is with great pleasure that Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC welcome Estonian International, Henri Anier, to the Highland Capital.

"The forward is the club’s second signing of the January window, joining Dean Ebbe in having signed a contract until the end of the season. Both contracts contain options which could see the players extend their stay in Inverness beyond the summer.

"We are also able to confirm that agreement has been reached with Fulham for Larnell Cole who will remain with us for the rest of the season.

"Finally, for now, we are delighted to have David Raven sign a six month extension which means he will be with us until at least January 2018."

Richie Foran's side went into the winter break languishing at the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership table, having picked up only three wins in their opening 21 games.
