I’ve been looking forward to writing this column for the last nine months.

On Saturday morning my amazing wife Claire gave birth to our second beautiful little girl, Emilia Anne Harper. I couldn't be prouder and it’s great to have both home and healthy. I wanted to write a piece about how magic that moment a new life comes into the world is, but I also want to give a special mention to the phenomenal staff at the Princess Royal. Thank you to Gillian, the team in the Labour Suite and all in Ward 68 for being so supportive and on hand with Claire. Even though at one point, whatever medication they had, made Claire announce “I’m turning into a boring cucumber”. What a line! I actually filmed that conversation on my phone but can’t share the clip…EVER.

Apart from the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie “Junior”, I’m sure I speak for all men when I say we’re glad it’s not our job! Thank you Mums everywhere, we wouldn't be here without you.

Lynne had mentioned last week about our creation -  the most undateable “woman” in Scotland. This is what happens when we are in a pretty boring meeting, we start mucking around with face swap and suddenly we ended up looking like this…

Glasgow Times:

Lynne Harper – Tinder’s biggest fan

I dared Lynne to stick our combined mug AKA Lynne Harper (get it?) on Tinder. Surely nobody would chat her up? We were wrong…within 20 minutes, we had a private message. “hey. Luv your eyes”. We thought that was it, but more kept coming…

Glasgow Times:

Such a lucky “lady”

Ok, this wasn't a very scientific experiment but, it is great news if you're single and not sure if you’d get a match. If “Lynne Harper” can, you definitely will. Be warned though, you are up against some stiff competition!

Like most of us in January, “Lynne Harper” is looking like she’s needing to top up her tan and take it easy in the sunshine for a while. On Heart Drive Time next week Lynne and I will have amazing sunshine holidays up for grabs every afternoon with Jet2holidays. Make sure you pick up a swimming costume on Buchanan Street this weekend and listen next week to win.

Listen to Paul and Lynne’s new drive show on Heart Scotland 100-103Fm & DAB 4-7pm weekdays
