A GRADE-A chef is offering Glasgow foodies the chance of a lifetime in aid of charity.
Renowned Michelin star chef Martin Wishart is offering lucky diners the chance to win two tickets to the Honours Uncovered at Malmaison in the city centre.
The prize will see two diners go behind the scenes at the chef’s Honours restaurant before being treated to a Champagne and canapé reception.
They will then get the chance to try out wine tasting before tucking in to a delicious three course meal.
All money raised through the competition will go to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice’s Brick by Brick appeal, backed by the Evening Times.
The hospice provides free specialist care to patients and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses, and has helped thousands of people across the city.
The culinary prize draw forms part of the Great Glasgow Gastronomic Giveaway organised by the Glasgow Restaurant Association (GRA).
Ryan James, from GRA, said: “The Glasgow Restaurant Association and its members are proud supporters of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice and it is a real pleasure to help contribute towards their exciting Brick by Brick Appeal and the kitchens at the new hospice building. “Through innovative initiatives such as the Great Glasgow Gastronomic Giveaway, we think our restaurant members will help raise a lot of money for the hospice while bringing lots of delight to winning diners across the city.”
Heather Manson, director of fundraising at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, said: “Glasgow is a city of foodies and we’re delighted to be able to offer these incredible prizes, thanks to the generosity of Glasgow Restaurant Association.”
Raffle tickets costing £5 are available online at www.princeandprincessofwaleshospice.org.uk/the-charity/lottery/gastronomic-giveaway.
The contest will close at 11.59pm on January 25.
