Milngavie fire survivor Bex Williams has spoken for the first time since the horror blaze which killed her boyfriend.
The 24-year-old, who was discharged from hospital yesterday, thanked everyone for helping her in a statement released last night.
Bex, who works as a journalist for Global Radio, was left fighting for her life following the blaze on New Year's day which killed Cameron Logan and the family's dog Gomez.
Cameron's parents were also treated for smoke inhalation.
She told Heart Radio: "I want to say thank you to everyone who helped me.
"I am so grateful to the fire crews, paramedics and police officers, and to all the hospital staff who have looked after me.
"I'm getting stronger every day, with my family and friends around me."
Cameron's brother Blair, 26, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court charged with murder, assault to severe injury, danger to life and attempted murder on Monday.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
