KILMARNOCK have announced the signing of Celtic midfielder Kristoffer Ajer on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old arrived at Parkhead last summer but has struggled for game time under Brendan Rodgers, making only one appearance for the senior team against Lincoln Red Imps in July.
Ajer, who can play in midfield or defence, is a Norway Under-19 international signed by former Hoops boss Ronny Deila after impressing for IK Start in his home country.
“Kris is a very versatile player, who can play for us in many positions," said Killie manager Lee Clark.
"We have fought off a lot of competition to secure the services of Kris and we are delighted to have a player of his quality here at the Club."
The Norwegian is Clark's fifth signing of the winter transfer window, following the arrival of Karleigh Osborne and loan capture of Newcastle United trio Cal Roberts, Freddie Woodman and Sean Longstaff.
