COPS and sniffer dogs attended an incident near a secondary school in Glasgow's South Side.
They were called to Auldhouse Road close to Hillpark Secondary School at around 10.20am yesterday.
A search of the area was conducted as part of their enquiries, and a large police presence was spotted by locals around the school grounds.
A spokeswoman for Glasgow City Council confirmed that Hillpark Secondary was not involved in the incident and pupils were not affected.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that they are following a definite line of enquiry in connection with the incident.
