Police Scotland have been engaged in a car chase through the west end in a bid to recover a stolen car.
There was a heavy police presence in Springburn following the incident including search helicopters.
Police were also thought to be searching bins in the area.

A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed that officers were responding to a report of a stolen vehicle which was later recovered in Springburn.
Enquiries are ongoing.
