COPS discovered stolen goods following raids on four premises in Glasgow.

The stolen goods were seized following the operation which took place on Friday, January 6.

Police Scotland teamed with Trading Standards for the operation to detect any offences committed in relation to licensing, resale of stolen property, and the sale of counterfeit and dangerous goods.

Glasgow City Council’s Trading Standards officers also seized smartphone covers and earphones, as part of the operation.

Four premises in the Glasgow South East area were visited by officers throughout the day with some stolen property being recovered and returned to its rightful owners.

A 27-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with alleged licensing offences.

Police advise the public to register on the property logging system, Immobilise.com.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "People can register personal items, such as tablets and phones, and if any items are stolen, they can be marked as such on the site, assisting police in being able to return the stolen items to their rightful owners."
