A MAN has been attacked by a gang in Govanhill after going to a flat to complain about persistent noise.
The 37-year-old victim was assaulted by four men and it is understood it happened after he confronted his neighbours about noise at the flat in Cathcart Road.
It is understood that the man was put in a headlock in a common close in the flats during the attack which happened on Tuesday at around 11.15pm.
Police are now investigating and say the victim did not need hospital treatment.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
"The local housing association have been informed of the matter."
