A DRIVER has been rushed to hospital after his van hit a bus stop in South Lanarkshire.
It is understood the man needed resuscitation after the accident in Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang at around 1.55pm.
He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
His initial condition was described as "stable".
Police Scotland said it is not believed any pedestrians were hurt.
The road was closed for some time, but has now reopened.
