KEVIN Bridges is giving the shirt off his back to help raise cash for the Tartan Army Children’s Comic.

The comedian has donated his top from Soccer Aid 2014 to go under the hammer at a comedy gala in Glasgow later this month.

The blue and white football kit will be one of the prizes at The National’s comedy gala on February 19 at the Stand Comedy Club.

Funnyman Kevin was in the line-up for the Rest of the World team which demolished England 4-2 in front of 70,000 fans at Old Trafford.

His top has been signed by other celebrities who took part, including Jose Mourinho, Andriy Shevchenko, Alessandro Del Piero, Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Robbie Williams, and Gordon Ramsey.

The kit is to be raffled off at the event, with all funds going to the Tartan Army Children’s Charity, a group of fans who follow Scotland’s national team all over the world, helping disadvantaged kids at home and abroad.

The charity is working on its My First Scotland Match programme, where it buy tickets for children and young people who might otherwise not be able to get to a game.

They have also helped charities throughout Scotland including Ayrshire, Lothian, Glasgow, Fife, Perth, Dumbarton, Falkirk and Aberdeen, as well as in England, Slovakia, Malta and Lithuania.

Comics performing on the night include Scott Gibson, Mark Nelson and Darren Connell, of BBC hit show Scot Squad.

Tickets for the gala are £5 and available from bit.ly/nationalcomedy
