A MAN who was caught with cannabis in his possession twice will wait to find out his fate.

James Martin, 26, appeared in the dock for sentencing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

He plead guilty to having Class B herbal cannabis in is possession on Summertown Road, Glasgow on February 27, last year.

He also had Class B cannabis and cannabis resin in his possession on March 6 last year at Glasgow Airport.

Martin’s defence agent told the court that his client has arthritis and had been smoking cannabis to deal with the pain.

He explained his client had a number of responsibilities including looking after his three children and father.

The court heard Martin, of Peel Street, Partick, had stop smoking cannabis since the offences.

He has been placed under a structured deferred sentence and is back in court on May 10.
