A teenage lottery winner is considering legal action against Euromillions bosses after a huge payout "ruined her life".

Jane Park, who was 17 when she scooped £1million, believes that Camelot should not be allowing people her age to win such vast sums of money.

The Scot, now aged 21, won the million-pound jackpot while playing her first ever ticket.

She insists that people don’t realise the “extent of her stress”.

Speaking to the Sunday People, she said: “At times it feels like winning the lottery has ruined my life.

“I have material things but apart from that my life is empty. What is my purpose in life?”

Before winning the lottery, Jane worked as an admin temp for £8 per hour.

She lived at home in Edinburgh with her mum Linda in a two-bedroom flat on a council estate.

A Camelot spokesman said: “We have been in touch with Jane from time to time since her win to offer ongoing support.

“It is always up to the winners as to whether they want to take up that support.”
