POLICE have launched an appeal to find a Coatbridge man who vanished on Valentine's day.
Alan O'Nion, 54, has been reported missing from the Coatbridge area. A
He was last seen about 11.35pm on Tuesday and is described as 6ft tall, medium build with short grey hair which is receding.
he has blue eyes and a pale complexion. When Alan was last seen he was wearing a dark coloured zipper, hooded top, dark jeans and white trainers.
Enquiries have revealed that Alan purchased camping equipment including a black and grey tent in Hamilton.
Police say hemay be camping in the local area of Hamilton or Motherwell.
Inspector Higgins of Hamilton Police Office asks that should anyone have contact with Alan, or if Alan sees this appeal himself, then they make contact with Police Scotland by calling 101, quoting incident number PS-20170214-3864 or if they are unable to telephone, e-mail the details to Lanarkshiremissingpersons@scotland.pnn.police.uk.
