Lucky film fans were treated to a very special screening of one of the most popular films of the 80s which had been shrouded in mystery beforehand.
As part of the Glasgow Film Festival, 'The Lost Boys' - which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year - was screened on Friday night and saw film buffs be whisked off to a top-secret location.
A staggering nine bus loads of ticket holders were escorted by a gang of bikers from the Glasgow Film Theatre to the location - which turned out to be M&D’s Theme Park. The park made for a suitable alternative for Santa Carla, the amusement site from the 1987 film.

Upon arrival, the audience had the chance to take a spin on the big wheel and rollercoaster rides, browse a comic book stand hosted by Forbidden Planet, play games and get their faces painted.
Drinks, popcorn, and candy floss were also on offer from stalls before the screening of the film which centres around two brothers who, after moving to a new town, discover the area is a haven for vampires.
Allison Gardner, co-director of Glasgow Film Festival told Glasgowist: “We’re continuing to create unique cinemas events around some of our audiences best-loved films in terms of events venues, content, and reach.”
Anniversary screenings of 'The Princess Bride' and 'Secretary' are also to be held as part of the festival which is running from 15 to 26 February.
