GLASGOW’S most impressive sport successes gathered on Friday night to be honoured at the Sports Person of the Year Awards.
Winners included the Service to Sport Lifetime Achievement Award going to William Smith and young kayaker Natasha Lawton beat rugby’s Gregor Townsend to Glasgow Coach of the Year.
Broadcaster Bryan Burnett hosted the evening in Glasgow City Chambers, attended by around 200 people.
Sir Andy Murray took home the top award, Sports Person of the Year, and Gordon Reid won Evening Times Glasgow Disabled Athlete of the Year.
St Rose of Lima Primary School pupils and staff were delighted to win both Glasgow Primary Sports School of the Year and the Lord Provost Award.
