A COLLECTION to raise funds for a one-off tifo display to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions winning the European Cup will take place at Parkhead on Saturday.

The Green Brigade will hold a green bucket collection around the stadium when Celtic take on Hamilton.

The fan group want to raise £15,000 to have a full stadium display on the day Brendan Rodgers’ side are expected to be presented with the Premiership trophy at Celtic Park.

Over £11,000 has been raised thanks to Celtic supporters who have donated to a Go Fund Me page.

A Green Brigade spokesman said: "Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

"The group wish to extend our thanks to those who have supported us already in our plans to commemorate the Lisbon Lions and Celtic Football Club's greatest achievement."

Parkhead legend Jock Stein’s side sealed their place in the history books by becoming the first British team to lift the European Cup on May, 25 1967 in Lisbon.
