A MAN swallowed an item suspected to be drugs while cops carried out a search.
Paul Moore, 30, was jailed for two months at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He plead guilty to intentionally obstructing two police officers in the exercise of their powers under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
He accepted that he refused to open his mouth and swallowed an item suspected to be controlled drugs.
The incident happened on January 26, 2017 at Baird Street and Glasgow City Centre police office.
In a separate charge, Moore, whose home address was not listed on court documents, plead guilty to stealing food items worth £75.59 from Sainsbury Local on Milngavie Road.
This incident happened on December 11, last year and there was full recovery.
