FORMER Kilmarnock striker Souleymane Coulibaly has denied reports that he is on the verge of leaving Egyptian club Al Ahly after only one month.

The Ivory Coast attacker left Rugby Park during the January transfer window in a deal worth £1 million, but is yet to make a single appearance in Cairo.

Coulibaly took to Twitter on Friday to shoot down reports that he had been left in tears after being left out of the match day squad and could be placed on the transfer list by the club.

He wrote: "This is not true! I'm in good terms with my club Al Ahly, my teammates and with my coaches.

"My time will come, be patient, good things take time."

The 22-year-old joined Killie last summer on a free transfer and was a hit for the Ladbrokes Premiership outfit, scoring 11 times in 26 games.
