IT may only be February - but panto bosses are urging fans to book their tickets early.

The popular SEC Armadillo festive show is to be Jack and the Beanstalk, running from December 16 2016 to January 7 2018.

Tickets are on sale now for audiences who want to see Jack climb a beanstalk of gigantic proportions.

Qdos Entertainment Executive Producer Jonathan Kiley said: “We are delighted to be offering the city of Glasgow yet another smash-hit family pantomime, and with tickets more affordable than ever before, we look forward to welcoming groups, schools and families to share the magic of Jack and the Beanstalk.

"We’re already working hard on the show, ensuring it’s full to the brim with fantastic comedy routines, amazing song and dance numbers and plenty of show-stopping moments.”

The SEC pantomime has developed a reputation for using big, bold, special effects.

Tickets for Jack and the Beanstalk are on sale now with 1000 seats available for every performance costing £23 or less.
