A MAN was fined at Glasgow Sheriff Court after he was found with heroin in his possession.

David Cross admitted that on October 21 2015 at Shettleston Road he had the class A drug in his possession.

The quantity the 27-year-old had on him amounted to 1.6 grams.

The sheriff imposed a £200 fine for Cross to pay after he plead guilty to the charge at his trial diet.

He had initially appeared in court with three charges next to his name.

The quantity of the drug Cross had on him amounted to a tenner bag.

This would sell on the street for around £10.
