A pet dog was thrown out of a Paisley flat window horrifying local residents.
The little Jack Russell plummeted 30 feet to the pavement on Monday evening.
The badly-injured pooch was knocked unconscious as he hit the concrete in Ferguslie Walk.
Horrified neighbours raced to help the little dog who is now being cared for by a local vet.
Paisley Inspector Tracey Harkins said: "This was a despicable crime which resulted in a defenceless animal being severely injured.
"I would ask anyone who was in Ferguslie Walk at around 5.35pm on Monday and witnessed the incident, to contact police on 101."
A man has been charged in connection with the incident.
