A CAR advert is set to stop traffic in Glasgow City Centre this weekend.
Volkswagen will be filming on some of the city’s main arteries on Saturday and Sunday.
Glasgow City Council has issued warning to motorists that diversions will be in place from 8pm on March 4 until 2am on March 5.
West Campbell Street, between Argyle Street and Waterloo Street, will be closed, as will Cadogan Street, between Wellington Street and Douglas Street.
Wellington Lane will be entirely closed and Blythswood Street, between Cadogan Street and Waterloo Street will be shut although there will be access to the car park.
There will be no waiting from 4pm on March 3 until 5am on March 5 in other streets.
These restrictions will be in force on West Campbell Street, between Argyle Street and Waterloo Street; Cadogan Street, between Wellington Street and Douglas Street; Wellington Lane, in its entirety, and Blythswood Street, between Cadogan Street and Waterloo Street.
