Do you fancy making a killing on the property market?

The iconic cop was portrayed by Mark McManus, who died in 1994, five years before current incumbents the McGregor family moved in.

As soon as he moved in, neighbours would approach saying he lived in Taggart's house, or to ask if there had been a murder.. a joke soon wore thin.
On the market for offers over £430,000, the five-bedroom property has far more to offer than what was shown on screen, where it would appear two or three times a season.
The listing for the home reads in part: "This fantastic family home offers spacious and flexible family accommodation over two levels and is located in a prime Giffnock location.
"To the front of the home is a spacious lounge with fitted carpet and the room is tastefully decorated.
