THE trial of a driver accused of causing the death of a Scots toddler in Jersey will take place in June.
Clinton Pringle, from Moodiesburn, was just three when he died after he was hit by a van driven by Rebekah Le Gal in St Helier in June last year.
Le Gal, 38, pled guilty at the Jersey Royal Court in the town to driving without due care and attention last week.
She pled not guilty to the more serious charge of death by dangerous driving. The trial will begin on June 13 at the same court.
The tot was on holiday when he was knocked down by a van at the entrance to a park. His dad Michael said his son’s death would leave a “gaping hole in the lives and hearts of so many”.
