GLASGOW Airport has named the British Heart Foundation as its charity of the year.
The airport’s chaplaincy team Keith Banks, Jim McDonald and Stephen Baker will be supported by staff to raise vital funds.
Jim McDonald said: “My own father died suddenly from a heart attack.
“Many of us know someone who’s been similarly affected by heart disease. Sadly, it’s an everyday reality for many folk. It’s fantastic to know we’ll be helping to make life better for people who are living with heart disease. Last year the chaplaincy raised £5,500 for the Teddy Bear Foundation.
