POLICE Scotland are helping cops in Doncaster in the search for a missing 16-year-old who has links to Glasgow and doesn't speak English.

Hong Quang Nguyen  was been missing for almost a week.

It's believed Hong may have connections to the Glasgow area.

Superintendent Colin McFarlane, said: “As time goes on we are becoming increasingly concerned for Hong’s welfare and would really like to speak to anyone who has seen or heard from him since he was reported missing last Thursday, March 9.

“Hong doesn’t speak English and was last seen in Doncaster town centre at about 2pm. Since he was reported missing, officers have conducted numerous enquiries in the area, howeve,r we also believe he may have travelled outside of South Yorkshire.

“We know he has connections in Glasgow, Scotland and would ask anyone who thinks they may have seen Hong to contact us so we can ensure his wellbeing.”

Hong was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white and grey shirt, blue jeans and blue Adidas trainers.
