A FOOTBALL fan who was involved in the disorder at the Scottish Cup Final last year has been fined.
Darnell Taylor, 21, appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to entering the field of play at Hampden Park last year. He accepted that he approached supporters of the opposing team and gestured towards them in an offensive manner.
Taylor, of Craigmuir Place, Edinburgh was fined £400.
A Crown motion for a Football Banning Order was denied in the case before Sheriff Alan D Miller.
Taylor’s defence agent said he was ashamed and embarrassed by his behaviour.
