It’s the must-have item of this year so far, it seems, and with Mother’s Day right around the corner, Aldi’s new candle range - which apparently rivals Jo Malone’s - continues to cause a frenzy among customers as they keep selling out.
Officially launched in-store just six days ago, candle fiends flocked to Aldi stores across the nation before 8am. Within minutes, shelves were reportedly left bare.

As customers lamented, the retailer then made the announcement everyone wanted to hear: the range was to hit its website on Tuesday March 21.
With reports the range is seemingly sold out online too, we’re here to help eager shoppers who are desperate to snap one up for just £3.99, compared with the real-deal which will set you back a jaw-dropping £44.

“They are going online at regular intervals. We suggest eager customers keep an eye on the page,” a spokesperson for the retailer told the Evening Times.
Unsurprisingly, the candles have been surfacing on eBay, selling for up to SEVEN times their in-store value.

One seller is currently flogging a set of six for £75, including a £10 postage fee. Had they been bought in store, the set would have cost just £23.94.
Many disappointed individuals have expressed their disappointment and anger at the retailer supposedly allowing customers to ‘buy in bulk’, only for the items to appear at an inflated price elsewhere online.
However, to allay consumer fears, a spokesperson for the retailer added: “There is a limit of two per transaction, so customers need not worry about others buying in bulk.”
