A young man so “heartbroken and sick” of his sister’s constant drug use has made the bold decision to publish a harrowing video of the drug, Spice, taking its devastating effects on both her and her partner.

Tuakeu Te Maori-Boy, from Auckland in New Zealand, said he posted the video to make people aware of the true reality of “what drugs do to you.”

He added: “I know a lot of people won’t agree that I put it up, ‘cause it is my sister, but I don’t care.

“I’m f*****g sick of seeing our youth do this s**t and tired of our youth doing nothing better. Sorry.”

Having received more than two million views worldwide in just two days, the clip shows Tuakeu’s sister sitting at a table in a confused and ‘zombie-like’ state.

She also fails to respond when her brother asks her if she is okay. Instead, she groans loudly and begins to retch.

The camera then cuts to her partner sitting beside her in a similar, if not worse, state.

Slumped in a chair and making disturbing gurgling sounds while breaking wind, he doesn’t respond when his girlfriend touches him.

Tuakeu also later changed his profile picture to one of him and his sister as smiling youngsters, and captioned it: “When life was easy and nothing but the beauty and sweet innocence in your eyes.”

He received much praise from people from across the globe for making the brave move.

Tuakeu’s aunt, Deidre Teava, was one of many to recognise her nephew for creating awareness to anyone going through the same, and to any youth who think they want to go down the same road.

She said: “[He] done one of the bravest things, sharing a video of his sister and the effects these drugs - that are so easily available to anyone on our streets - have on people.”

To those who have accused Tuakeu for posting the video for “Facebook likes,” she said: “Wake up to this reality.

“This video was posted after years of suffering and this was the last straw. And I know for a fact just how heartbroken he is for having to do this.”

She also insisted that, with her family’s support and love, her niece “will get through this.”

“There’s been a wake up call,” she added.

Spice is an extremely potent synthetic cannabis which is at the centre of an epidemic across the UK.

Many videos have surfaced online in recent weeks showing users slumped on pavements and against walls in high streets in trance-like states, which has led to it being dubbed a ‘zombie drug’.
